Wrap Labs / Vanta Shine Detailing – Comprehensive Client Agreement & Liability Waiver

1. Personal Belongings / Theft / Interior Responsibility
Client agrees to remove all personal belongings, including cash, electronics, weapons, identification, and other valuables from the vehicle prior to service. Wrap Labs / Vanta Shine Detailing assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged items left inside the vehicle, including center consoles, glove boxes, or trunk compartments. Vehicle interiors may be left unlocked during service unless otherwise instructed in writing.

2. Non-Refundable Deposits & Cancellation Policy
All deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Missed appointments or last-minute cancellations may result in forfeiture of the deposit and additional charges to rebook. Reschedules due to weather or emergencies are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

3. Chargeback & Dispute Resolution Clause
Client agrees not to initiate any chargeback or dispute without first contacting Wrap Labs / Vanta Shine to resolve the matter in good faith. Chargebacks filed without direct communication will be considered a breach of this agreement and subject to recovery of the full service cost, all chargeback fees, legal costs, and time spent resolving the matter.

4. Pre-Existing Damage Acknowledgment
Prior to service, vehicle condition will be photographed and documented. Client agrees that Wrap Labs / Vanta Shine is not responsible for any damage determined to be pre-existing, including rock chips, scratches, dents, paint defects, body filler, or previous wrap/PPF remnants. Vehicles in compromised condition may be refused service without refund.

5. Paint Condition & Age-Related Risks
Client acknowledges that older or repainted vehicles, matte finishes, single-stage paint, or poorly prepped surfaces may be vulnerable to damage during cleaning, polishing, or film application/removal. We are not responsible for paint or clear coat failure due to underlying conditions.

6. Aftercare & Maintenance Responsibilities
Client agrees to follow all provided aftercare instructions. Improper care — such as power washing, use of harsh chemicals, or early washing after PPF/ceramic coating — will void any warranty or rework offer. Maintenance services are recommended and available at additional cost.

7. Limited Workmanship Guarantee
We guarantee our workmanship within industry-standard expectations. This does not cover damage caused by road debris, neglect, automatic car washes, weather events, vandalism, or external factors. Warranty duration and scope varies by service and will be discussed prior to invoicing.

8. Chemical Reaction Disclaimer
Professional-grade detailing and protection products may react unpredictably with non-OEM surfaces, factory defects, or aftermarket materials. We are not responsible for discoloration, etching, swelling, or reactions caused by unavoidable chemical interaction.

9. Mobile Access & Site Requirements
For mobile services, client must ensure clear and safe access to the vehicle, including availability of water and power if required. Unsafe work environments (e.g., construction zones, aggressive pets, steep inclines, active garages) may result in service refusal without refund.

10. Weather & Force Majeure
Service schedules may be impacted by weather, power outages, or other unforeseen issues. Wrap Labs / Vanta Shine is not liable for delays or rescheduling caused by weather conditions, acts of God, or other force majeure events.

11. Aftermarket Parts, Accessories & Trim
We are not responsible for damage to aftermarket spoilers, trim pieces, badges, or unpainted plastics that may become dislodged or degraded during service. Fragile or poorly installed parts may fail during washing, wrapping, or detailing.

12. Modifications & Vehicle Electronics
Vehicles with aftermarket lighting, sensors, alarms, or entertainment systems may malfunction during standard cleaning, taping, or disassembly. Client accepts these risks and agrees to disclose any known non-factory installations before work begins.

13. Media Use & Marketing Release (Optional)
We reserve the right to photograph and record services performed for quality control and promotional purposes, without disclosing client identity. Clients may opt out by requesting exclusion in writing prior to service.

14. Abandoned Vehicle Policy
Vehicles left on Wrap Labs / Vanta Shine premises beyond 7 days after completion (without prior written agreement) may be subject to a $50/day storage fee. Vehicles left longer than 30 days may be deemed abandoned and subject to legal action or lien.

15. Incomplete Service Due to Interference
If service cannot be completed due to customer interference, vehicle inaccessibility, or client-initiated interruptions, Wrap Labs / Vanta Shine reserves the right to cancel the job, retain the deposit, and charge for time spent on-site.

16. Color & Finish Variations Disclaimer
Final appearance of PPF, wrap, or ceramic coatings may differ slightly from digital renderings, sample swatches, or photos due to lighting, substrate, and material batch variations. No refunds will be issued based on subjective aesthetic expectations once materials are installed.

17. Scope of Work Limitations
Only services explicitly listed on your invoice are guaranteed. Any additional requests or expectations must be confirmed in writing prior to beginning service. Verbal assurances not noted on the invoice are non-binding.

18. Jurisdiction & Liability Cap
All disputes shall be governed under California law, with venue in Ventura County. Maximum liability under this agreement is limited to the actual amount paid by the client for the specific service in question.
