Serving Oak Park
Armor for the cars
that run Kanan.
You do not put miles on a car in Oak Park. You put the right ones on it. One turn out of the neighborhood and Kanan drops south through the Santa Monica Mountains toward the coast, a two-lane cut into hillsides that shed grit onto the road with every rain. That is where the paint gets hit, and it is not only the nose that takes it. XPEL clear bra is an invisible, self-healing film that meets the stone first. Ten minutes from your driveway, and we’ve been an XPEL Authorized Dealer since 2017.
Built For The Canyon
A low-mileage car
on a high-risk road.
Paint protection film is usually sold on mileage, which is the wrong argument up here. The Oak Park car is garaged, driven lightly, and taken out precisely when the road is worth driving. The problem is that the road worth driving is the one that throws rock at it. Clear bra is the layer that lets you keep taking it.
Kanan does the damage, not the 101
Oak Park is ten minutes from the freeway and one turn from a mountain road. Kanan runs south through the Santa Monica Mountains to the coast, cut into hillsides that shed grit onto the lane every time it rains. That road, not your commute, is what chips paint out here.
The nose takes the first hit
A full front package wraps the bumper, hood, fenders, and mirrors in XPEL film thick enough to absorb an impact and spread it sideways. The stone that would have gone through your clear coat lands on a layer you can replace instead.
And the lower panels take the rest
Narrow canyon lanes throw debris low and sideways. Rockers, lower doors, and the panels behind the wheels come back sandblasted on cars that run Kanan regularly, which is precisely the area most front packages stop short of. We spec around where your car is actually getting hit.
Invisible, and self-healing under the sun
The film is optically clear with no visible edge and no orange peel, so a stranger cannot tell it is there. Light swirls and wash marks close up again with heat from a warm day. Installed by an XPEL Authorized Dealer since 2017.

Why drivers from Oak Park choose us.
Proximity is the least interesting thing about us, and we are the closest studio you have. What should decide it is that film is cut and wrapped here by hand, by master-level installers, in a sealed room. An edge that lifts is the beginning of a line of dirt across your hood that will not come out. Our standard has not moved since 2014.
Master-level installers only
No trainee cuts film on your car. Every panel is wrapped by a master-level installer, because a clear bra either disappears into the car or announces itself at every edge, and there is no middle result.
A sealed, climate-controlled studio
Film goes on clean or it does not go on right. We work indoors in a sealed, climate-controlled bay, so nothing off the hillside ends up sitting between your paint and the film for the life of the install.
A 4.9 Google rating, in public
46+ reviews you can read verbatim before you hand over the keys. In a town this small, that reputation is the only one we get.
From Oak Park
The other way
down Kanan.
Kanan north to the 101, then west toward Westlake Village, ten to fifteen minutes to the studio. It is the shortest drive of any town we serve, and it is the opposite direction from the one that chips your paint. Bring the car up unprotected once. Take it south wrapped, and stop watching the road for what it might throw at you.

Tell us where
the car is getting hit.
The car, how often you run the canyon, and where the chips are showing up now. Photos of the nose and the rockers tell us more than anything else. We respond same day, usually within the hour, with a clear quote and an honest recommendation on coverage.
Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
I only drive a few miles a week. Do I really need paint protection film?
Rock chips are not a mileage problem, they are a road problem. One run down Kanan through the mountains puts your paint in front of more loose grit than a month of errands on the 101 ever will. It takes a single stone to open the clear coat, and the film is what decides whether that stone matters.
Kanan is a mountain cut. Does debris really come off the hillside onto the road?
It does, and it is why the cars we see from Oak Park chip differently from the ones we see from the valley floor. Grit and gravel wash down onto the lane, especially after rain, and then the car ahead of you throws it. XPEL film takes that strike and spreads the energy across the surface instead of letting it punch through to primer.
The chips on my car are low, on the doors and rockers, not the nose. Why?
Because a narrow canyon road throws debris sideways as much as forward. Cars that live on Kanan pick up rash along the lower doors, rockers, and behind the wheels, which a standard front package leaves bare. Tell us where the car is actually getting hit and we will spec the coverage around it rather than around a brochure.
What coverage should an Oak Park car start with?
Most start with a full front, because the bumper, hood, fenders, and mirrors take the majority of what the road sends forward. If you run the canyon often, the lower panels are worth adding, and some cars are worth doing end to end. Send us the car and how you drive it and we will give you an honest recommendation in writing.
A rock hit the film. Do I need to do anything?
Usually nothing. The film is the sacrificial layer, and light marks self-heal with heat from the sun. That is the entire idea: the strike lands somewhere replaceable. If you are unsure whether the paint underneath took damage, you are ten minutes away, so bring it by during shop hours and we will look at it with you.
How much does a clear bra cost for my car?
It comes down to the vehicle and how much of it you want covered, and the shape of the panels genuinely changes the work. Rather than post a number that would be wrong for most cars, we quote each one. Send photos and we will come back the same day, usually within the hour, at no charge.
