Privacy Policy
Effective Date: May 1, 2025
Wrap Labs, Inc. (“Wrap Labs,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information gathered from customers, prospects, and visitors through our website, CRM platforms, and communication channels including phone, text, and email. By using our services or accessing our website, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
We collect personal identifiers such as your name, phone number, email address, mailing address, and vehicle information including year, make, model, OEM color, VIN, and specific customization preferences. In addition, we may gather digital information such as your IP address, browser type, and referral source when you interact with our site. We also collect data through lead capture systems like Shopmonkey and Pipedrive, as well as through social media, contact forms, intake documents, and appointment scheduling portals. Communications with Wrap Labs through phone calls, text messages, and emails may also be stored to improve service delivery and maintain project records.
This data is used for various legitimate business purposes including but not limited to booking appointments, confirming service details, sending invoices and estimates, providing updates, and issuing warranty documentation. It is also used to track service history, enhance internal records, and follow up on client inquiries. In some cases, images or videos of your vehicle may be used for quality control and marketing purposes with your consent.
We do not sell your personal data for money. We may “share” certain online identifiers (such as cookie or advertising IDs) with advertising partners like Google to measure our ads and reach past visitors (remarketing) — activity that the California Consumer Privacy Act may treat as a “sale” or “share.” You can opt out at any time using the link in our website footer. We may also share your information with trusted third-party vendors including payment processors, CRM tools, subcontractors, and service providers when necessary to fulfill your service or maintain legal compliance.
Your data is stored on encrypted platforms and secured through access-controlled systems. We retain personal information as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy or as required by law.
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, provided it does not interfere with outstanding invoices, service documentation, or legal obligations. To exercise your rights or express concerns, contact us. You may also request that your vehicle or likeness not be used in promotional materials.
We use cookies and analytics tools to improve website performance and better understand site usage.
Specifically, we use Google Analytics 4, which sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) to measure
visits and traffic sources, and PostHog for product analytics and session insights. We may also use advertising
and remarketing technologies (such as Google Ads) to measure the performance of our advertising and to reach
visitors who have shown interest in our services. Consistent with the California Consumer Privacy Act
(CCPA/CPRA), these advertising signals are enabled by default, and you may opt out of the sale or sharing of your
personal information at any time using the
link in our website footer. You may additionally opt out through your browser settings or by installing the
Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
These tools do not capture identifying information unless voluntarily submitted through form fields. Our website
may include links to third-party websites, whose privacy practices we do not control.
Our website includes an AI chat assistant. When you use it, we log the conversation along with associated details you provide or that are technically available, including your messages, any name, phone number, email, and vehicle or service interest you share, your IP address, approximate location, browser, referring page, and timestamps. We use these records to respond to your inquiry, follow up on quotes, and improve our service. The raw chat transcript and its technical logs are retained for up to 180 days and then automatically deleted. If you share contact details and a request, we may also keep that as a business inquiry record (the same way we retain a quote or contact-form submission), which is held under the general retention terms above rather than the 180-day chat-log window. You may contact us to request access to or deletion of your chat records or inquiry data.
We take your data security seriously and implement appropriate technical and organizational safeguards. Our staff is trained to manage data responsibly and in accordance with relevant laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
This policy may be updated from time to time, and the latest version will always be accessible on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
