Serving Simi Valley
Ceramic tint for
the hottest side of the hills.
Simi Valley gets the heat the coast never sees. No marine layer, no shade in the parking lot, and an afternoon sun that sits low in the windshield for the whole drive home. XPEL ceramic window tint answers all of it: it rejects the infrared that actually heats a cabin, cuts glare without darkening your view, and blocks the UV that cracks a dashboard and fades an interior. Twenty-five minutes south over the hills, on Via Colinas.
Inland Heat, Handled
Why a dyed film
doesn’t last out here.
A dyed film looks the part for a season, then a Simi summer takes it apart: the color drifts purple, the edges bubble, and the heat was never really being rejected in the first place. Ceramic tint works by rejecting infrared and UV rather than by simply going dark, which is why it holds its color and why you feel the difference on the worst afternoons of the summer.
Heat, in a valley that has no relief
There is no marine layer coming over the hills to cut the afternoon back. A car left in an open Simi lot turns into an oven, and most of that heat comes in as infrared straight through the glass. Ceramic film rejects it at the window instead of asking the AC to fight it once it is already inside.
The low sun on the way home
The commute out here runs east and west, which means the afternoon sun ends up sitting square in the windshield exactly when the traffic is worst. Ceramic tint on the side glass and a near-clear windshield film take the intensity out of that light without darkening what you can see.
An interior that stops aging
Sustained UV is what cracks a dashboard, fades a door card, and bleaches the life out of leather, and a car that parks outside in this valley gets a great deal of it. Ceramic film blocks the UV at the glass, which is the only place it can be stopped.
No metal, so nothing drops out
Ceramic tint carries no metal, so cell signal, navigation, keyless entry, and the sensors mounted behind the glass keep working the way the manufacturer intended. It holds its color too, rather than drifting purple after a summer like the one just past.

ViewThe Standard
Why drivers from Simi Valley choose us.
Tint is cheap to buy badly and expensive to redo. Peeled corners, a speck of dust under the rear glass, a shade that gets you pulled over: all of it is permanent until somebody strips it out. We have laid film to one standard since 2014, and it is worth the drive.
Master-level installers only
No trainee learns tint on your glass. Every window is cut and laid by a master-level installer, the difference between a clean edge and one you catch in the corner of your eye every time the light hits it.
A climate-controlled, dust-free studio
Tint cures clean or it doesn’t cure right. Our studio is sealed and climate-controlled, so the wind-blown grit a valley car arrives with never ends up trapped between the film and the glass.
A 4.9 Google rating, in public
46+ reviews you can read verbatim before you commit. We’d rather be vetted than ask you to take our word for it.
From Simi Valley
Over the hills,
and back the same day.
Take the 23 south out of the valley to the 101 and Westlake Village, about twenty-five minutes to the studio. Tint is the quickest of the disciplines we do, so most cars are dropped in the morning and driven home the same day, with the afternoon sun finally off your face.

Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Does tint actually make a difference on a car parked in a Simi lot all day?
It is the clearest place you will feel it. Most of the heat that builds in a parked cabin arrives as infrared through the glass, and a ceramic film rejects a great deal of it before it ever gets in. The car is not cold when you open the door in August, but it is a car you can sit in rather than one you have to air out first.
The sun sits right in my eyes on the drive home. Can tint fix that?
Side glass and a near-clear windshield film both help, and on an east-west freeway run that low afternoon sun is exactly the problem worth solving. Ceramic film cuts the intensity without going dark, so your view stays crisp and California-legal. What goes away is the squint and the fatigue that comes with it.
How dark can I legally go in California?
California sets limits on the front side windows and the windshield, and the rear is treated differently. It is worth getting right, because a ticket for illegal tint means paying twice, once to have it removed and once to have it done properly. Tell us the car and how you use it and we will point you at the darkest shade that keeps you legal.
My tint has gone purple and it is bubbling at the edges. Why?
That is dyed film reaching the end of a hard inland summer. The dye breaks down under sustained UV, the color drifts purple, and the adhesive gives up at the edges. Ceramic film holds its color because it does not rely on dye to work. Old film has to come off before new film goes on, so send photos with your quote request.
Will ceramic tint interfere with my phone signal or the car’s sensors?
No. The old metallic films did, because metal in a film interferes with radio signals. Ceramic tint carries no metal, so navigation, cell reception, keyless entry, and the sensors behind the glass all behave exactly as they did before.
What does tint cost, and can I find out before driving over?
Yes. Tell us the vehicle, which windows you want done, and how dark you are thinking. We come back the same day, usually within the hour, with a clear written quote and straight guidance on what is legal, so nothing is an open question before you leave Simi.
