Red Ferrari F8 Tributo in paint protection film by Wrap Labs

Serving Simi Valley

Paint protection for
a car that commutes.

A Simi Valley car earns its chips on the freeway. Miles south on the 23, miles east on the 118 and through the Pass, at speed, behind traffic lifting grit off a dry road. Rock chips are not bad luck out here, they are arithmetic. XPEL clear bra is an invisible, self-healing film that meets the gravel and the abrasion first, so the finish underneath stays the finish you paid for. XPEL Authorized Dealer since 2017, twenty-five minutes south over the hills.

Built For Freeway Miles

What the 118 does to a nose,
and how clear bra stops it.

A clear bra is XPEL paint protection film: optically invisible, far thicker than vinyl, and self-healing under heat. It is the layer that meets the stone, the sand, and the grit first, so the front of a car that runs the valley freeways every day still looks like the front of a car that never left the garage.

01

The freeway does the damage

Simi Valley drives out of the valley. Miles south on the 23 or east on the 118, at speed, behind whatever the truck ahead is lifting off the lane. That is where chips come from, not from the occasional spirited weekend, and the nose of the car is the part that pays.

02

Grit off the Pass, at speed

The run through the Santa Susana Pass throws sand and stone at a car in a way a coastal road never does, and the wind keeps the road surface loaded with it. XPEL film takes that impact and spreads it, so a strike that would have gone through clear coat stops on the film instead.

03

The slow abrasion nobody notices

Long dry-road miles do not just chip a nose, they sand it. Thousands of impacts too small to see leave the bumper and mirrors looking hazed while the rest of the car still shines. Film is the surface that wears instead, and it can be replaced. Paint cannot.

04

Invisible, and self-healing in this sun

The film stays optically clear, with no orange peel and no visible edge when it is cut and wrapped properly. Light marks in the surface heal with heat, and a Simi Valley afternoon supplies more of that than most places. Installed by an XPEL Authorized Dealer since 2017.

The Services

Everything your car needs,
under one roof.

Clear bra is where most commuter miles get answered, but it’s one of six disciplines, all installed in-house by the same master-level installers.

The Standard

Why drivers from Simi Valley choose us.

Film is bought once and looked at every day for years. A lifted edge, a trapped speck of grit, a seam in the wrong place: none of it can be quietly fixed later. That is why the drive over the hills is worth making, and why our standard hasn’t moved since 2014.

Master-level installers only

No trainee learns on your paint. Every panel of every clear bra is cut and wrapped by a master-level installer, because an edge that lifts a year in tells you everything about who did the work.

A climate-controlled, dust-free studio

Film cures clean or it doesn’t cure right. Our studio is sealed and climate-controlled, which matters when a car arrives off the freeway carrying valley dust in every panel gap.

A 4.9 Google rating, in public

46+ reviews you can read verbatim before you hand over the keys. We’d rather be vetted than ask you to take the drive on faith.

From Simi Valley

One more run
down the 23.

Take the 23 south out of the valley to the 101 and Westlake Village, about twenty-five minutes to the studio on Via Colinas. Make the drive once unprotected, and every drive after that the film is the thing meeting the road.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

I commute the 118 every day. Is that really what chips a car?

It is the single biggest source of damage on most Simi Valley cars. Chips are a function of speed and miles, and a daily freeway run gives you both, behind traffic that lifts grit off the lane all the way in and all the way home. A weekend car sees a fraction of it. A commuter takes it five days a week, and the front of the car keeps the score.

The paint on the nose already looks hazed and sandblasted. What causes that?

Thousands of impacts too small to see individually. Wind-blown grit and the fine debris that comes off a dry road do not chip the clear coat so much as abrade it, and over a few years of freeway miles that reads as a dulled, sanded look on the bumper and mirrors while the rest of the car still shines. Film stops that, because the abrasion lands on a layer you can replace.

How much coverage does a car like mine actually need?

A Full Front is where most freeway drivers land, since the bumper, hood, fenders, and mirrors take nearly everything the road throws forward. If the car is a keeper or you are running real miles, wrapping the whole vehicle is worth talking through. Tell us the car and how you drive it and we will send a written quote with an honest recommendation.

Does clear bra change how the paint looks?

It should not. XPEL film is optically clear, and cut and wrapped properly it has no visible edge and no orange peel, so the car simply looks like the car. Light swirls in the film also self-heal with heat, and a summer afternoon in Simi supplies plenty of that.

The car already has chips. Is it too late to wrap it?

No, but be clear about what film does. It goes on over the paint as it stands, so whatever is in the finish now stays under it. Send photos with your quote request and we will tell you straight what is worth addressing before the film goes on and what is fine to leave.

Why come over the hills when there are shops closer to home?

Because a clear bra is only as good as the hands that wrap it. Every panel here is cut and wrapped in-house by a master-level installer, in a sealed, climate-controlled studio, and we have been an XPEL Authorized Dealer since 2017. A lifted edge or a speck of trapped grit is a permanent reminder that close was the wrong reason to choose a shop.
