Powder Coating & Calipers
Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. Unlike conventional liquid paint which is delivered via an evaporating solvent, powder coating is typically applied electrostatically and then cured under heat. The powder may be a thermoplastic or a thermoset polymer.
Powder Coating provides a more durable finish than liquid paints can offer, while still providing an attractive long lasting finish. Powder coated products are more resistant to diminished coating quality as a result of impact, moisture, chemicals, ultraviolet light, heat and other extreme weather conditions.
Better Coverage
The electrostatic application method and the curing process ensure that you can reach the rim’s most challenging nooks and crannies.
Works with Any Metal
You can apply powder coating to any metal material, including brass, steel, aluminum, or stainless steel.
Faster Curing
Powder coating has a shorter curing time than paint, achieving maximum durability in minutes instead of weeks.
Durability
The coating provides a thicker layer with consistent coverage and can last up to three times longer than standard paint.
